We realize you are deciding where to spend your tax-deductible volunteer time. We at MFG Health Foundation need your assistance in continuing our mission of providing free musculoskeletal care to the uninsured and underinsured across America.

In 2005, the US Census Bureau and the US Economics and Statistics Administration reported that 46.6 million Americans, or 15.9% of Americans, have no health insurance. This number has generally increased each year since 2000. The majority of insured Americans have limited coverage for musculoskeletal care. Therefore, most Americans go without the proper therapy to prevent muscle injuries, recover from musculoskeletal injuries and alleviate the symptoms of debilitating diseases.
Funds we raise help provide free care to over 160 patients across the USA each year. Patients choose their own professional therapists, who could be found in member literature you provide us. Our patients suffer from musculoskeletal injuries or chronic diseases, like Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson's disease, which keep them from enjoying a normal life. Our work has been featured in national media, like Massage Magazine, and television shows like NASCAR This Morning.
We need as many massage therapy, chiropractic and yoga volunteers as possible. Each volunteer must send us their resume' including educational background, skills details, proof of insurance and days available for work.
We especially need therapists with chair massage, sports massage, Myofascial Release and/or Thai Yoga Massage expertise.
All volunteers will be featured in our signage and website. Corporate sponsors will likewise be featured, and will be listed in our literature as well. Please let me know if you have items or literature to include in our gift bags or if you want to donate tax-deductible supplies, equipment or funds.
We think of this project as an investment with a tremendous return. With your help, MFG Health representatives can serve thousands of disadvantaged, ailing Americans while providing your organization and its members with recognition.
